Notes by LeBron James and Anthony Davis during the Lakers’ victory against the Celtics

In the words of the Grand James Worthy, the Lakers were released and obtained these Celtics – and it feels good. Nothing improves the atmosphere better than completely crushing your rival and winning the best victory of the season.

The way the Lakers did was also very encouraging. It was not only a crazy and warm shooting evening, they won a victory that probably could not be reproduced. Instead, it was a very solid and locked defensive performance.

This does not mean that it was not an evening of intense shooting, but it was largely reproducible. Only Gabe Vincent, who scored four 3 -point baskets, made an extraordinarily good match.

Mix all of this and you get a match where the Lakers won their biggest victory of the season and when Bronny James was able to play.

What was even more pleasant is that the Celtics left three of their key players to rest on Wednesday against the Clippers to prepare them against the Lakers on Thursday. It worked well for them!

So let’s dive into victory. As always, the notes are based on the expectations of each player. A note “B” represents the average performance of this player.

Rui Hachimura

28 minutes, 10 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 interception, 3-9 FG, 2-5 3pt, 2-2 ft, +12

A strong night of Rui on both sides of the field. He seized some very strong rebounds and even if there was a sequence in which he seemed allergic to the seizure of the boards, it was a good match on his part.

LeBron James

31 minutes, 20 points, 14 rebounds, 6 assists, 9-20 FG, 0-2 3pt, 2-2 ft, +7

It was certainly as if LeBron had more than 20 points in the evening, but perhaps because there were very big dunks, it was like more.

And I shouldn’t be surprised at everything in the tank a match after a villain dunk, but my word was that he was absolutely ready for this match.

His work on the boards was the best example of his preparation for the game.

Anthony Davis

31 minutes, 24 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 interception, 3 blocks, 9-18 FG, 0-1 3pt, 6-6 ft, +15

The Celtics offer AD many opportunities to succeed inside and he fully took advantage of it on Thursday. Kristaps Porzingis has no interest and Al Horford is about 237 years old, so AD succeeded.

Max Christie

29 minutes, 6 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 2-6 FG, 2-6 3pt, +12

It is easy to have watched this match and to have criticized Max, who constantly abandoned the jumpers of Porzingis. But in fact, I liked this defensive strategy, because it has more or less attracted Boston to mid -range jumps often disputed and ineffective of porzingis instead of 3 points.

And Max did his part. He fell down, made the task difficult in Porzingis and forced him to commit ugly failed. This is the kind of performance that does not appear in the score, but which was good.

Austin Reaves

33 minutes, 23 points, 3 rebounds, 6 assists, 7-13 FG, 4-8 3pt, 5-6 FT, +14

It seemed to be one of the matches on which Reaves had the most control as a leader, especially in the second period. It was as if he knew where he had to go and finish with zero reversal against Jrue Holiday and Derrick White is an excellent performance in itself.

Gabe Vincent

26 minutes, 12 points, 1 rebound, 4 assists, 4-8 FG, 4-7 3pt, +22

The team leader in addition to this victory? No one other than Gabe Vincent himself.

We said it several times this season, but it was his best match as a laker. He succeeded in a few timely shots, played excellent defense and was a solid 3-and-D guard.

I even forgive him for this crazy 3-point that he removed on a ball screen in the third quarter.

Jaxson Hayes

14 minutes, 5 points, 8 rebounds, 1 decisive pass, 2-4 FG, 1-2 ft, +14

I want to be angry with Hayes because he made crazy mistakes in the first half, but how can you be angry with him when he had eight rebounds. We won the game. Let us ignore errors on the ground for one night.

Dorian Finney Smith

20 minutes, 2 points, 4 rebounds, 2 interceptions, 0-2 FG, 0-2 3pt, +20

It would have been interesting to see the alignment to which the Lakers turned if the match was tight late, because having dfs switched on Porzingis at the end of the match is better than having max in the same place, even for its quality of play.

But as we have exploded, I guess we will never know!

Dalton Knecht

14 minutes, 13 points, 4 rebounds, 5-7 FG, 3-4 3pt, +3

There were some possessions where Knecht really had trouble with Jayson Tatum defensively. But roughly at that time, he replied with some 3 points in a row.

Nothing has changed with him. If he can pull, he can stay on the ground. Otherwise, it is difficult to rationalize it.

Bronny James, Christian Koloko, Cam Reddish, Shake Milton

It was the crew of the victory cigar. Nothing better than Bronny obtained minutes against the Celtics during a brilliant victory at home.
