LONDON — The Norwegian government announced Wednesday that it would recognize a Palestinian state. Ireland would likely follow with its own announcement, possibly joined by other European countries later today.
“In the midst of a war, with tens of thousands dead and wounded, we must keep alive the only alternative that offers a political solution to both Israelis and Palestinians: two states, living side by side, in peace and security,” said the Prime Minister. Minister Jonas Gahr’s store.
