Northern Ireland will enter their first major tournament in women’s football with a tough first test against Norway this week.
Kenny Shiels’ women are the only team placed outside the Euro 2022 top 30 and are the lowest ranked at 47th in the world.
Northern Ireland, who qualified via the play-offs, were drawn in formidable Group A alongside hosts Norway, Austria and England.
Green and White Army, making their debut in the senior women’s final, are out of form heading into the tournament after going their last five games without a win.
Northern Ireland have met two-time winners Norway twice in qualifying and suffered resounding 6-0 defeats each time.

Northern Ireland vs Norway: what was said?
Shiels is avoiding placing expectations of his side after his male counterpart Ian Baraclough publicly targeted four wins from as many Nations League games only to see his side go victorious once.
“The girls know the language we speak in the locker room about what we want to do and how we’re going to do it,” he said.
“I would tell that to Ian Baraclough, who was asked about the Nations League games and he expected to win every game.
“He didn’t say it like that, he wasn’t arrogant at all.
“He said, which is logical, that he saw no reason why the team couldn’t win all four matches and that sent a message of motivation to his players.
“Some people got arrogant out of it, but I think he was absolutely right to say that.
“I’m not going to say we should win all three group matches.
“I can’t predict we’re going to beat any of these teams – I can’t predict that, it’s not possible.”
