Noodle, a dog who became famous on social media for his “bones or no-bones” videos, died on Friday, his owner announced. Jonathan Graziano, the dog’s owner, said Noodle died at home in his arms. He was 14 years old.
“It’s a day that I always knew would come but never thought would happen,” Graziano said, adding that it was incredibly sad and difficult.
“It has been the privilege of my life to take care of Noodle for the past 7 years,” he wrote on TikTok and Instagram. “The nicest man that ever existed and will ever exist.”
Graziano has 4.5 million followers on TikTok and more than 274,000 more on Instagram. In daily updates, he posted videos showing him supporting Noodle and seeing if the elderly pug stood up, which means ‘bones day’, or collapsed, which means ‘no bones day’. – a day to relax.
He encouraged his followers to celebrate Noodle, “which has made millions of people happy”.
“What a race,” Graziano said in his tearful video on Saturday.
