Nobel laureates in physics sound the alarm on artificial intelligence


Nobel physics winners Geoffrey Hinton and John Hopfield, awarded Tuesday for their work in machine learning, expressed their concerns about the technological revolution that artificial intelligence represents. Both researchers called for a better understanding of AI to prevent it from spiraling out of control.
