The images of a van on immigration and customs on fire in Philadelphia on Tuesday morning led many on social networks to blame the fire on the left extremists.

Complaint: An ice cream van in Philadelphia saw fire in an online video was intentionally burned by left extremists.
The facts: this is false. Although the cause of the fire is unknown, the unfair game is not suspected, according to the Philadelphia fire service and the ice.
“After our provost of fires spoke to the driver of the vehicle, who escaped unscathed, fortunately, it was determined that it was an accidental fire,” said Rachel Cunningham, spokesperson for of Philadelphia fire. “I have no information on what caused it or about the accident, but there is no suspicion of unfair play.”
The department responded to a call concerning a flame vehicle in front of a residence in the Philadelphia Center City district at 8:38 a.m. on Tuesday morning, said Cunningham. A fire was sent to the scene and extinguished the flames. The provost of fires has been qualified as a precaution, since the van is a government vehicle.
ICE spokesperson Tanya Roman, said the van had “mechanical problems” before causing fire.
“The Philadelphia Fire Service turned off the flames after his arrival on the scene,” she confirmed. “There was no injury due to the rapid response of the fire service and the occupants of the vehicle. The cause of the fire is unknown, but no unfair game is suspected at the moment. »»
