Addressing a rally in the Bihar Patnah Thursday, Kumar said: “Not much work (from the Indian Bloc) is currently done due to the assembly of the Assembly in five states, and the Congress is more interested in that.”
“We all (opposition parties) work to strengthen the congress, but they do not interest us currently because of the assembly elections,” said Bihar CM during a rally organized in Patna by the Communist Party of India (ICC) which was on the evocative theme “Bhaajpa Hataao Desh Bachao” (dislodge the BJP from power, save the country).

Congress is an important member of the Indian block led by the opposition, but in his declaration, Nitish Kumar alleged that the party is not interested in the sharing of the seats and the alliance which seems to be fully occupied by the elections to the assembly five states.
Elections in the assembly should take place in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Mizoram in November.
Speaking in the presence of senior leaders, including the secretary general of the ICC, D Raja, Kumar recalled that the parties opposed to the current exemption had gathered to form the new coalition.
During his speech, Kumar also addressed the presumed media muzzle by the current regime of the center, saying that a good job carried out by his government in the state did not obtain adequate coverage.
