Nintendo has published another new Switch 2 video, this time showing a close glimpse of the official console box and its game cards.
As you can see in the video of Nintendo TODAY, repaired below, the Switch game cards are remarkably similar to those of the original switch, although colorful in red. Switch 2 is capable of playing physical games of Switch 1, so the size and shape similarity may not be surprising.
The video focuses on the Nintendo Switch 2 official case and also offers an overview of Joy-Con SWITCH 2 wrist straps. Like the original Switch 1 transport case, Switch 2 has room for the console, accessories and gaming cards.
Switch 2 is expected to be launched on June 5. Friday, Nintendo detailed free Switch 2 updates to come to 12 of its existing switching games at launch, including Super Mario Odyssey, Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, and Zelda’s legend: Echoes of Wisdom.
Some games will only get the addition of Gameshare’s management, a new feature that means that players with several switching consoles (that Switch or Switch 2) will be able to play multiplayer with a single copy of the game.
It has recently been discovered that colorful panels on the side of Nintendo Switch 2 Joy-Con controllers can be deleted, and some stores are already offering customization options.
