Bad news, players – You will have to wait a little longer to pre -order the Nintendo Switch 2.
Nintendo blamed Trump’s prices for a delay at the moment when Americans can pre -order its long -awaited Switch 2 game console.
The company repels pre -orders from April and will announce the new pre -order date “on a later date”, according to a company press release with Business Insider.
“Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders in the United States will not start on April 9, 2025 in order to assess the potential impact of evolutionary prices and market conditions,” the press release said. “Nintendo will update the calendar on a later date. The launch date of June 5, 2025 is unchanged.”
Previously, Nintendo said that North American customers would be able to pre-order “participating retailers” on April 9. The company also intended to authorize pre -orders directly from its website from May 8, but the press release did not say if this date was also likely to change.
Nintendo said he was planning to launch the Switch 2 on June 5, with a price of $ 449.99.
The company previously moved a certain production of its change of origin from China to Vietnam due to economic tensions between China and the United States.
