San Francisco 49ers cornerback Lenoir de Domyore was arrested Thursday in Los Angeles and charged with a head of resistance to arrest, the Los Angeles police department said at NFL Media.
Lenoir, 25, was arrested on Thursday at 5.30 p.m., according to the Information Center for Inmates of the Sheriff Department of the County of Los Angeles, and was released on Friday on his own commitment. He must be at the Superior Court of July 25.
“We are aware of the case involving Deommodore Lenoir and we are collecting additional information,” the 49ers said in a team statement.
According to the LAPD, Lenoir’s arrest charge concerned the penal code 148 (a) (1), also known as resistance arrest: “any person who voluntarily resists, delays or obstructions and the public officer, a peace agent or an emergency medical technician.”
Lenoir was arrested with Marcus Cunningham, 25. Cunningham was accused of criminal possession of a firearm hidden in a vehicle.
Lenoir is a native of Los Angeles who attended Squalien High.
