Antonia Kidman looked solemn as she was seen visiting her late mother Janelle’s home in Sydney on Sunday following her death at the age of 83.
The actress’s younger sister Nicole, 54, was seen carrying a bouquet of flowers from the property as the Kidman family gathered following the sad news.
She cut a casual figure in a blue shirt and pink sweater, which she paired with faded jeans and white sneakers for the outing.
The journalist framed her face with a pair of glasses and looked somber as she left her late mother’s home in Greenwich.
She was carrying her essentials in a beige handbag and holding a bouquet of flowers and a plastic bag in one hand as she left the property.
The flowers had previously been left at home with Antonia and then collected as loved ones rallied around the Kidman family during this difficult time.
On Saturday, her sister Nicole revealed that their beloved mother had tragically passed away at the age of 83.
The Australian actress, 57, was forced to leave the Venice Film Festival to return to her hometown of Sydney to be with her family following the devastating news.

Her mother Janelle tragically passed away just hours before Nicole was due to receive the Best Actress award for her role in Babygirl on the final day of the Venice Film Festival, a huge accomplishment.
“Today I arrived in Venice to find out shortly after that my beautiful and courageous mother Janelle Ann Kidman had passed away,” Nicole revealed in a statement read by director Halina Reijn after her win.
“I’m in shock and I have to go see my family, but this award is for her, she shaped me, she guided me and she made me.
“I am so grateful to be able to speak her name in front of you all through Halina, the collision between life and art is heartbreaking, and my heart is broken. We love you all.”
In an interview with the Fresh Air podcast in January 2022, Nicole briefly spoke about her mother’s health issues after temporarily returning to Sydney to support her.
She said they managed to visit the Art Gallery of New South Wales after hours, where they admired the Matisse: Life & Spirit exhibition, describing it as a “soothing balm”.
“We are here mainly to take care of my mother and to have her surrounded by her grandchildren,” she said.
“Luckily, yesterday, even though Omicron is raging in this country, we were able to take him to the gallery after hours and show him the Matisse exhibit, which, coming from a mother who raised me in the arts, was a soothing balm. Matisse was a soothing balm last night.”

Nicole was born in Honolulu and raised in Sydney with her beloved mother Janelle and psychologist father Antony, who passed away in September 2014.
After spending time in the United States, the Moulin Rouge star and her younger sister Antonia spent much of their childhood in Sydney.
Nicole pursued her passion for acting as a teenager and was supported by both her parents as she rose to global fame.
They have both remained closely involved in her career over the years, with Nicole recently admitting that she would always turn to her mother for advice.
In November, the Big Little Lies star revealed that she often asks her mother Janelle for outfit advice, despite working with a variety of professional stylists.
As a sign of their close bond, Nicole told People, “My mom is always very involved in what I wear.”
Nicole is known for her bold fashion choices, but she shared how it was her mother and grandmother who first nurtured her love of clothes.
“I love fashion. I’ve always loved fashion,” she said at the launch of the Planet Omega pop-up in New York.

News of Janelle’s passing was revealed in a statement read by director Halina Reijn on Nicole’s behalf as she accepted the Best Actress award on her behalf.

“I grew up as a little girl with a grandmother who loved fashion and knew how to sew, just like my mother. They loved beautiful clothes. They knew how to make beautiful clothes,” she continued.
“I watched them sew, embroider, knit and crochet. And I think when you grow up seeing people in your home doing that, then you love it.”
Nicole has never shied away from expressing her affection for Janelle, sharing a touching tribute on her mother’s 82nd birthday last year.
On Instagram, she posted a gallery of photos of herself and her family celebrating with Janelle at a party and wrote some sweet words in a caption.
“Happy birthday, Mom. We all love you so much,” Nicole wrote.
She also took the time to send her mother birthday wishes while she was on the Oscars red carpet in Los Angeles with her husband Keith Urban.
“It’s my mom’s birthday today. Happy birthday, mom. We love you so much,” Nicole told the camera.
“We had a party for her when we got back to Sydney. She’s the heart of our family, so we love you, Mum.”
In an interview with the Sydney Morning Herald in May 2020, Nicole also spoke about missing her mother while she was living abroad in the United States.
