Nicki Minaj arrested by police in Amsterdam and live streaming incident

Nicki also live-tweeted the incident. “They said they found some weed and another group of people had to come here to weigh the pre-rolls,” she wrote on X. “Keep in mind that they took my luggage without my consent. My security has already informed them that these pre-rolls belong to him. Oh yes and the pilot wants me to remove my message.”

She added“Now they told me I had to leave in 5 minutes to make a statement regarding my safety at the police station.”

Meanwhile, Nicki said her luggage was subjected to a manual search. “They tried to stop me from coming to every show,” Nicki said in an Instagram video. “They took my luggage before I could see it. They put it on the plane.”

Nicki had performed at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam on May 23 and was due to fly to the UK to perform a planned concert in Manchester on the day of the incident. However, she was unable to arrive in time and Live Nation UK said in a statement to NBC News that the show had been postponed.

“Despite Nicki’s best efforts to explore every possible avenue for tonight’s show to take place, today’s events have made that impossible,” the group said. “We are deeply disappointed by the inconvenience this has caused.”
