NHL Free Agency Day: Ranking the biggest contracts signed on July 1
It’s July 1st, a public holiday in Canada and one of the most important days on the NHL calendar. Today at noon, NHL free agents became eligible to sign contracts with teams and the action was fast and furious. Within the first hour, Chris Johnston’s big free agency board has already been taken over. There were a lot of mandates and a lot of money spent.
So, to make sense of it all, here’s a list of free agent contracts we evaluated throughout the day.
