The efforts to limit the number of concussion during the NFL season took a big step in the right direction in 2024.
The executive vice-president of the NFL, Jeff Miller, said during a media call on Thursday that the number of concussion recorded in the league was the least each year since the start of follow-up in 2015. The follow-up takes place for Pre-season and regular season games and training.
The total drop of 2024 was 17%.
In addition to introducing new helmets designed with better protection against concussion, the league has adopted new kick -off rules this season which have been designed in part to limit concussion. The League said on Wednesday that the dynamic kick -off led to fewer injuriesThis makes it more likely to be adopted beyond the one year’s test in 2024.
