The longtime defensive back of the NFL, Jordan Poyer, dropped a major retirement index after a turbulent 2024, while it is again as free.
Poyer is best known for his time with the Buffalo Bills, becoming one of their defensive leaders for seven seasons with the organization.
Trying to become younger to follow the heads of Kansas City, Poyer was released and taken up by divisional rivals, the dolphins of Miami for 2024, where he did not do much to help the team avoid missing the playoffs.
Now, without an NFL house, Poyer clearly said where he would like his football career to go from here.
“I love the game, do you know?” I am in a place at this time when I played 12 years, extremely grateful and blessed to have played the game for so long ”, said poyer on NFL Network. “Last year was an extremely difficult year at so many levels.”
“Our team was not very good. I did not play as well as I wanted to play. It was just a really difficult year. Obviously, the transition from Buffalo to Miami, the cultures being different, the systems being different, it simply did not work as if someone had hoped.

“But at the same time, I am grateful for everything, recognizing for all times, all friendships. Would I like to play again? Absolutely. Whatever it looks like. It would be dope, it would be ideal to have a fantastic end and to be able to withdraw a bill, but who knows? I’m just an open book at the moment, really enjoying life for what it is.
“My heart will always be (in Buffalo). I’m just playing in the ear right now, but I would like to play? Absolutely.’
Poyer was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles before going to the Cleveland Browns for four seasons.
Then came his mandate with the Bills, where he reached celebrity alongside the arrival of Josh Allen in the west of New York, going to Buffalo a year before his former teammate.
Poyer is now at a professional crossroads, where it is not impossible that it will never play another cliché of the NFL.
Buffalo is one of the most requested teams in the League for a good reason, punching deeply at wanting a meeting.
