NFL Announces All 70 Players Forgo Remaining College Eligibility To Enter Draft

The NFL announced Thursday that it has granted 55 players special eligibility for the 2025 NFL Draft. Fifteen others from the first class have completed requirements to graduate and are also eligible for selection in the draft April 24-26 in Green Bay.

Twenty-five players requested special eligibility ahead of the new “soft” deadline of Jan. 6, which was added to help players and All-Star Game organizers with the planning and invitation process. Thirty additional players submitted their petitions before the traditional Jan. 15 deadline to request special eligibility for the 2025 NFL Draft. This list does not include players participating in the January 20 FBS National Championship Game. For these players, the NFL added a “championship” deadline of January 24.

Each of the 55 players listed below has satisfied the league’s three-year eligibility rule and waived their college football eligibility by submitting written notification to the league office on or before the deadline of 15 January. They are therefore eligible for selection.
