End an expectation of 70 years for a domestic trophy deserves an official party.
Newcastle launched a Saturday when they hold a open -roof bus parade to celebrate their Carabao Cup title.
More than 150,000 fans should join the celebration. The parade route takes place from St. James’ Park, through the city center and ends in the city of the city, an open space where an an hour scene was erected for an hour event that will include comments from players and a trophy lifting.
The team supported by Saudi Arabia beat Liverpool 2-1 almost two weeks ago at Wembley Stadium for its first large domestic trophy since the FA Cup in 1955. The club also won the intensity cup now disappeared – a European competition – in 1969.
The bus left the stadium around 4:30 p.m. local time.
Newcastle manager Eddie Howe received “freedom of the city”. The club figures that also received recognition include Alan Shearer, Bobby Robson and Shaka Hislop.
