Newcastle manager Eddie Howe was seen in public for the first time since he was transported to hospital and diagnosed pneumonia.
Howe fell ill a little less than three weeks ago and went to hospital on April 11 for other tests.
He was then informed that he had pneumonia, which forced him to miss three Premier League games against Manchester United, Crystal Palace and Aston Villa.
However, Newcastle announced Wednesday that he had returned to the club after recovering from his fear of health, and he was back to face the media on Friday morning.
Howe appeared in a good mood as he spoke to journalists before Newcastle’s conflict with Ipswich Town on Saturday afternoon.
The Magpies will try to bounce back after their 4-1 defeat by villa last weekend which left its five best hopes suspended.

Newcastle had won its two previous games without Howe in the canoe, beating United 4-1 then Palace 5-0 in St James’ Park.
They will again have an advantage at home this weekend as they seek to get closer to the security of football in the Champions League.
Newcastle currently occupies the last place in the Champions League, but is only two points above Chelsea and Villa before their last five games.
Chelsea’s men’s men in St James’ Park face a potentially pivot match next month, when they also have to go to Arsenal second in the penultimate weekend of the season.
A victory over Ipswich on Saturday would move Newcastle in third
