The Todd Boehly era at Chelsea is underway and as a result fans could see a markedly different look for the Blues this season.
Thomas Tuchel’s squad have been extremely restricted in the final months of last term due to sanctions imposed on former owner Roman Abramovich.

Tuchel will have high hopes in the transfer market in the coming weeks
However, with the Russian selling the club to US billionaire Boehly, it means the Chelsea manager has more money at his disposal in this window.
The west London side secured a third-place finish last season, and as well as looking to cement that place, fans will be hoping they can close the gap on Manchester City and Liverpool at the top of the Premier League.
However, with significant changes underway, it means there are plenty of question marks surrounding the Chelsea squad.
They have agreed deals for Raheem Sterling and Kalidou Koulibaly, while Jules Kounde is expected to join them in the coming days.
Between the sticks, Chelsea are lucky to have depth with Kepa Arrizabalaga battling for a place in goal, but it will be Edouard Mendy who will retain the gloves ahead of the Premier League’s return.
In central defence, Chelsea took a hit losing Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen at the end of their contracts with Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Speculation also surrounds Cesar Azpilicueta who continues to be linked with a move to Barcelona, meaning Thiago Silva will likely be pressed again this term.
However, the Blues have already landed a top defender in Koulibaly, and Kounde is set to follow after agreeing a £55m deal with Sevilla.
At the back, Chelsea have two of the best in the Premier League with Ben Chilwell and Reece James set to retain their places in the squad.
The same can be said in central midfield, with Mateo Kovacic and N’Golo Kante ready to once again form a strong base for Tuchel’s side.

On offense, however, things could be very different.
Speculation surrounding Hakim Ziyech’s future means Chelsea continue to search for quick forwards alongside Sterling.
As a centre-forward, the challenge for Tuchel will be replacing Romelu Lukaku following his loan spell at Inter Milan.
The players continue to be linked, but as things stand it’s likely either Kai Havertz or Timo Werner who are in charge of leading Chelsea’s line.
