Nayanthara’s marriage documentary, which recently aired on Netflix, sparked controversy and a second lawsuit was filed against him.
Earlier, actor Dhanush had raised objections, saying scenes featuring him were used in the documentary without his consent. Now another company has reportedly filed a lawsuit for similar reasons.
Sivaji Productions, which produced the film Chandramukhi starring Rajinikanth and Nayanthara, has filed a complaint regarding the unauthorized use of a scene from the film in the documentary. The company, which owns Chandramukhi’s online rights, sent a notice demanding compensation.
Interestingly, Nayanthara had earlier released a statement thanking Sivaji Productions for granting footage for the project. However, this recent development suggests unresolved issues regarding permissions.
Fans are now awaiting a response from Nayanthara and her husband, Vignesh Shivan, as they address the ongoing legal challenges surrounding their wedding documentary.
