Klopp has led Liverpool to success in all major competitions, both domestically and Europeanly, and is considered a club legend.

As the season draws to a close, the number of games left to play decreases every few days.

But Klopp certainly won’t be forgotten when he leaves the city of Liverpool and a new mural of him has been unveiled.

It is located on the side of a building on Slater Street and features a glass of German Erdinger beer, with the brewery logo also visible.

However, fans on social media don’t seem to like the addition, as one on X said: “It’s so boring that it’s just ads now.”

“Whatever authentic wall culture existed is totally being taken over by brands,” added a second.

A third said: “Yeah. It’s rubbish. Not sure why there has to be a brand involved.”

“Not a fan, just looks like a big advertisement,” added a fourth, with the mural painted by local artist John Culshaw.

Klopp, who previously created a mural near Anfield, has been an Erdinger ambassador since 2019 and starred in a TV advert for them, where he shouted: “Never fly over an Erdinger!”

The brewery also made limited edition cans featuring his face and autograph after Liverpool won the Premier League title in 2020.

Peterborough United owner Darragh MacAnthony is backing Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna to be Liverpool’s next boss and replace Jurgen Klopp.

Erdinger could be gearing up to do something similar at the end of this season, with Klopp eyeing a hat-trick in his final weeks at the club.

Liverpool have already won the Carabao Cup and currently sit top of the Premier League ahead of Arsenal and Manchester City.

They are also in the quarter-finals of the Europa League, with the Reds potentially set for a historic finals campaign under Klopp.
