WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Gloucester — Investigators have revealed new details about the moments before the 6ABC Action News helicopter fell and crashed in Wharton State Forest Tuesday evening.

The helicopter crashed shortly after 8 p.m. Tuesday evening, killing pilot Monroe Smith, 67, and photographer Christopher Dougherty, 45. They were returning to the Northeast Philadelphia Airport after a mission to film Christmas light displays in the Smithville, New Jersey, area, officials said.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration said it seized “thousands of units” of counterfeit Ozempic, the widely used diabetes drug for weight loss, that had been distributed through legitimate drug supply sources .

The FDA and the drug’s maker, Novo Nordisk, are currently testing the shots. They do not yet have information on the identity, quality or safety of the drugs, according to a press release. Five illnesses have been linked to fake vaccines, but none have been serious, the FDA warned.
