Bukayo Saka responded to Tottenham fans’ taunts in the best possible way during Arsenal’s north London derby victory.

The 22-year-old was instrumental in the Gunners’ 3-2 victory on Sunday to keep his side at the top of the Premier League table with three games remaining.

And he quickly had the Tottenham faithful eating their words after recalling his missed penalty in England’s Euro 2020 final defeat to Italy.

In a video that went viral XA selection of supporters could be heard chanting “You have let your country down” at the winger as he prepared to take a corner in the 15th minute.

But they were quickly silenced when Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg headed the free-kick into his own net to give Arsenal an early lead.

As Saka’s teammates ran to celebrate with him, the Hale End graduate turned towards the jeering fans, where he could be seen cupping his right ear.

One fan could be heard telling the youngster to “fuck off” following his cheeky reaction, with Saka then rubbing more salt into their wounds 12 minutes later.

The 2020 FA Cup winner doubled the visitors’ lead after capping a flowing counter-attack, where he was expertly picked out by Kai Havertz.

After getting past defender Ben Davies inside the box, he then retreated to the bottom left corner, where he ran right past the jeering supporters.

Once again, Saka perked up the crowd, his strike seeing him become the first Englishman since Ian Wright for Arsenal in 1994 to score home and away against Spurs in a single season.

Havertz then got into a trolling mood when he put Mikel Arteta’s men 3-0 up shortly after by putting his finger to his lips.

A second-half fightback from Spurs threatened to derail Arsenal’s title race, but they held on for the crucial three points.

Arsenal star Kai Havertz reposts hilarious video of himself, edited after Lil Yachty walked out minutes after beating Spurs in the north London derby.

There was relief for all after the full-time whistle, as players rushed to the away side to celebrate with their fans.

Speaking to Arsenal.com, Saka said: “It’s nice to score at home and away as Arsenal guys, we love this game and to score here is nice – I’m excited.

“It’s a big relief, a big flow of happiness and to go out to the fans and celebrate like that, it was certainly nice.

“We have three left, so we have to keep winning.

“It’s Bournemouth at home next, and we’re going to do what we can, concentrate on our game, win our games and see where that takes us.”
