New details revealed on the shooting at the Lycée d’Antioche

Metropolitan police have published new updates on Wednesday concerning the tragedy of the shooting in a secondary school in Antioch.

An investigation revealed that the shooter, Solomon Henderson, 17, drew a total of 10 pistol strokes of 9 millimeters in the 17 seconds which followed his entry into the cafeteria.

His weapon, loaded with nine cartridges, as well as a seven cartridge charger was recovered by agents on site.

No weapon was found at Henderson’s home on Carefree Lane after the police searched him on Wednesday.

Investigators also discovered that Henderson’s mother had taken him to school that day and that he had not used school transport, as the authorities had previously declared.

The authorities think that before entering the cafeteria, Henderson went to the school toilets where he published photos on social networks:

In addition to the photos of social networks, the detectives have confirmed that two documents which would be written by Henderson, one of 51 pages and the other of 288 pages, were collected as evidence by the FBI and the local detectives.

The MNPD also confirmed that other evidence had been collected at Henderson’s home on Wednesday, but does not specify whether they were physical evidence or other online evidence.

According to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms (ATF), the weapon used by Henderson was bought in Arizona in 2022. The weapon was not reported as a stolen and no other details were given on the way Henderson has come into possession of this weapon.
