Rumors have run around Hollywood today that the Quentin Tarantino script planned to make his last film, but abandoned will be born. It started with a wild report on a Once upon a time … in Hollywood Continuation from the playlist. Since it is April Fool, it required a little verification.
So here is what we hear. Brad Pitt has indeed obtained the blessing of Tarantino to show Pitt Se7en director David Fincor the script that focuses on the subsequent adventures of Once upon a time … in Hollywood Falaise stand character. And because Fincher is exclusive to Netflix, the film – if made – will be funded and published by Netflix, directly in streaming. Tarantino will receive a fortune for his words, because he prepares a play he wrote and works on the final film he will make. He seems to be heading towards Sony, where Tarantino made the first film. No question that Tarantino did not run his latest film for a streaming service, but he respects Fincher and Netflix is the field to finish since he helped establish the streaming giant with Card house.
It is understandable that Pitt would like to take Booth: he won his first Oscars for playing the stuntman and the Rick Dalton confidant (Leonardo Di Caprio). There was still a lot to explore in Booth’s past as a hero soldier and stone killer-in the film, he is represented as perhaps or perhaps not deliberately killing his angry wife with a spear pistol on a boat. He also released the trio of acolytes from the Manson family who hit Dalton’s door instead of Sharon Tate. These unfortunate people included Austin Butler and Mikey Madison, the latter of whom he had just won the Oscar for Anora.
This allegation of killing and many other questions about Booth are all answered Once upon a time in Hollywood: a novelthat Tarantino wrote and published, adding trains of material and background on the mythology of the cliff stands. He included a fatal race with a few hands -a gangster who tried to put himself with arms and scare the stand to spend time in the company of the gangster mistress.
Tarantino did much more than a simple romanization of his film, the pleasure of the film fans. When Deadline announced that Tarantino has decided to delete in a shocking way to delete her follow -up project and find another for the tenth and last film he will run, it was obvious that Booth was the main character of The critical filmA working title which probably corresponded to the fact that Booth’s passion for the observation of the films was explored in detail.
It is not certain that all this will work, and it seems unlikely that DiCaprio is participating in it. But if you cannot ask Tarantino to continue the exploits of Cliff Booth, you could do much worse than finishing the mission. No comments from Netflix.
