NBA recognizes a fault that was not called at the end of the Pistons-Knicks game

Tim Hardaway Jr. de Detroit said he had been the victim of a fault on the game’s final game. The NBA agreed with him.

It didn’t matter.

Missed referees Hardaway gets wakened up While pulling a 3 -point on the final game of Detroit 94-93 defeat against the Knicks In match 4 of their first round series of the Eastern Conference on Sunday. The NBA recognized the error shortly after the match, saying that a fault should have been called on Josh Hart of the Knicks.

If the fault had been called, Hardaway would have received three free throws with approximately 0.3 seconds. Instead, the game ended on this game and Detroit left the furious.

“You have seen it,” said Hardaway after the match, speaking to journalists. “Flagrant.”

The Knicks took a 3-1 lead in the series, with match 5 in New York on Tuesday.

“During the live game, it was judged that Josh Hart made a legal defensive game,” said team leader David Guthrie, a pool journalist after the match. “After an post-match exam, we observed that Hart establishes body contact which is more than marginal in Hardaway Jr. and a fault should have been called.”

Hart did not dispute that he had contacted Hardaway.

“Did I get in touch with him? Yes, I contacted him,” said Hart. “Was it legal? I don’t know. We are going to let the two -minute report say that. ”

The NBA publishes an examination of all calls in the last two minutes of the matches decided by three points or less, with these reports published the day after the match. But in this case, with a requested swimming pool report, the NBA made Guthrie a journalist talk to Guthrie and explain what happened.

Detroit argued in vain after the expiration of time. Piston coach JB Bickerstaff was clearly angry and approached the crew officiating on the ground shortly after the final blow, but he had no mechanism to challenge the call. First, the pistons had used their challenge earlier in the game and two, even if Bickerstaff always had the challenge that this would not have been of importance – technically, no call was made, so he could not have challenged anyway.

“There is contact on Tim Hardaway’s jump shooting,” said Bickerstaff. “I don’t know otherwise.

The pistons had the ball with 11.1 seconds to the left, down by one. Cade Cunningham missed a jump shot with 7.4 seconds remaining And, after a race, the ball found itself in Hardaway’s hands in the left corner.

Hardaway Ball Fauked to put Hart in the air, and Hart clearly contacted the right side of the Hardaway body when he was shooting.

Knicks star Karl-Anthony Towns was invited to see the game after the match.

“What do you want me to say?” See what? ” Said cities smiling. “Back to Madison Square Garden. Glad that we have won a victory. Do you like this answer? Is it good?
