Nasdaq hits new high
The NASDAQ index extends into a new session and, in doing so, prepares for another record close. Yesterday the index closed at a record high, so anything positive would be a new record.
The index erased a decline of -74.91 points at today’s session low. The high sent the price up 24.03 points. The current price is up 21.18 points or 0.13% at 16816.46.
Looking at the 4-hour chart, the 16464.60 – 16538.86 range is a near risk level for buyers looking for further upside momentum. Going below this level would bring the price below the cap area and would likely disappoint buyers if the cap is breached. .
