I am a frequent leaflet that generally likes business class flights due to service, comfort and food and high -end drinks that accompany the experience.
These days, however, I was more vigilant about the place where I spend my hard-won dollars, especially when certain advantages of the business class are nothing to write to me.
So when I came across a reasonable economic flight on Porter Airlines de Toronto in Los Angeles in December, I knew that I had to take advantage of the agreement. The round-trip flight cost around $ 460 CAD, which breaks down to around 160 USD in each direction.
In some respects, my experience in economics was just as good as business class trips to which I have been.
The seats were not perfect, but I had a lot of space to become comfortable
One of the main advantages of this flight was that the plane on which I was had no central seats. So, I could choose between a window or a driveway (I chose the latter).
As a result, the plane felt more spacious, and it was not a hassle of entering and leaving my seat to access the bathroom. I only hope that the leather seat has more cushion to make the four -hour trip more comfortable.
I was shocked to have free wifi access
Most airlines charge access to WiFi, I was therefore pleasantly surprised to note that as a member of the free Viptier awards program, the Internet Access was complementary to all of my flight.
However, even those who without reward account could access free wifi by watching an ad every 30 minutes.
Internet connectivity has passed the time quickly because I could do work or watch Netflix on my phone.
Having access to streaming platforms was a huge advantage, especially because I was disappointed with films and emissions available through the airline.
I appreciated free snacks, drinks and alcoholic drinks
I was able to choose from the snacks such as shortbread cookies, Fava Cheddar beans and roasted almonds. Tiffany Leigh
Porter Airlines offers all passengers, drinks and additional alcoholic drinks.
On my flight, I could choose from snacks like shortbread cookies, cheddar beans and roasted almonds. I also appreciated that the airline has highlighted local Canadian alcohol brands like Jackson-Triggs Wine and Steam Whistle or Beau’s Beers.
Drinking drinks were also very generous.
However, the meal I bought was not worth it
The cheese was good, but the crackers took most of the plate. Tiffany Leigh
After taking a snack, I was still a little hungry, so I decided to buy one of the ready -to -use meals on the menu.
I chose the cheese plate, which cost $ 12 CAD (approximately 8.40 USD). The description indicates that a local cheese had organized the varieties.
Although cheese is delicious and tasty, I found no information on the types I ate. In the end, I did not think that the size of small portion was worth the price, especially when the crackers took the majority of the plateau.
I appreciated my flight with Porter Airlines
Due to the smallest size of the plane (and the respective number of passengers on board), the entrance and exit of the plane was also fast and easy.
Overall, I really appreciated the quality of food and additional drinks and the ease of access to free wifi.
The only major drawback of the flight was that the seat was not super comfortable – but next time, I will bring a pillow to sit for a long flight.
Otherwise, I will certainly reserve with wearing again if I travel to destinations within two hours of Toronto.
I had a pleasant flight and I would recommend it to friends and family if they are looking for a profitable alternative with which to fly.
