ECB’s Muller weighs in on rate cuts in 2024, saying:
- I can foresee a few more rate cuts by the end of the year after June if the economy is in line with ECB expectations.
Of course, it’s so easy that officials, including the President of the ECB. Lagarde said this week that there was no set deal on rates – but perhaps she can give a strong hint of her real thinking.
