MTG Mocked by Fellow Lawmaker Calling Her ‘Putin’s Special Envoy’
Jared Moskowitz, a Democrat representing Florida’s 23rd congressional district, openly mocked Marjorie Taylor Greene by saying he had submitted an amendment naming her “Putin’s Special Envoy to the United States Congress.”
I have just submitted an amendment to the bill appointing MTG as Putin’s special envoy to the United States Congress. https://t.co/Gn8Dd3lZwj

Moskowitz submitted the proposal in response to Greene’s amendments to the Ukraine aid bill.
One of Greene’s amendments called on supporters of the bill, which would send tens of billions of dollars in aid to Ukraine, to enlist in the country’s military in its fight against Russia .
If you want to fund endless foreign wars, you should go fight them.
That’s why I’m introducing an amendment that would require any member of Congress who votes for the multibillion-dollar supplemental budget for Ukraine to enlist in the Ukrainian military.

Rebekah Maciorowski, a U.S. citizen who served as a combat medic on the front lines in Ukraine, responded to Greene’s call by saying, “I did it.”
Moskowitz also introduced a second amendment trailing Greene, seeking to rename his office in the Cannon House office building to the “Neville Chamberlain Room” — a reference to the former British prime minister famous for his failed attempts to appeasement of Nazi leader Adolf Hitler during World War II. 1930s.
Greene has often engaged in anti-Ukrainian rhetoric and sought to delay the $95.3 billion aid package that would allocate $60.84 billion to Ukraine.
All eyes are now on the upcoming votes in the House and Senate.
As the bill remains mired in delays, Ukraine is suffering from severe ammunition shortages, hampering its efforts on the battlefield.
