Recently, rumors began to circulate according to which MSI released another portable game PC with an AMD chip under the hood. It turns out that these rumors were completely true, because the company unveiled an 8 -inch pocket computer with the full name MSI Claw A8 BZ2EM.
The new game game includes a powerful AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme processor, an 890m Radeon AMD Radeon and up to 24 GB of RAM. This version comes approximately six months after the Intel based version of the company’s game pocket computers has hit the market.
Of course, these are the mobile versions of these chips, but it still makes MSI Claw A8 BZ2EM a viable alternative of steam bridge which is worth keeping an eye on the exit from Computex 2025.
Other notable specifications include an 8 -inch screen with a resolution of 1080p, a 120 Hz refresh rate, a VRR and up to 500 nits. There is an SSD M.2 2280 in different sizes available for quick loading times.

The 80Wh battery is another out -of -competition feature. The original steam game included a 40 W battery and the OLED steam bridge has a cell of 50 Wh. This should provide much more juice to maintain MSI’s big running. Of course, we will have to test it to see how good the life of the battery is, but it seems promising.
Unfortunately, while a bunch of information on the new competitor MSI Steam Deck was announced, prices and availability were not.
