Movie “ Gears of War ‘landing David Leitch as director

THE Autumn guy The director is in negotiations in Helm Gears of WarNetflix’s big budget adaptation of one of the largest video game franchises on the Xbox platform.

Jon Spaihts, who works with Denis Villeneuve to adapt Frank Herbert Dune Books for Legendary, writes the script for the functionality for which Netflix has teamed up with the coalition studio, the Canadian game developer behind the franchise.

Leitch and his wife and production partner, Kelly McCormick, will produce the functionality via their 87orth banner with the coalition.

Netflix made no comments on the agreement.

The game takes place on a planet on the edge of the collapse of society when a monstrous threat in the form of underground creatures known as Locust takes humanity on the verge of extinction. Delta Squad, a Ragtag Tiram led by the Disgrace Sergeant Marcus Fenix, is now responsible for the last stand of humanity.

Netflix resumed the rights to the popular video game franchise in November 2022 with great ambitions. He first hopes to adapt the game as a functionality, then follow this with an adult animated series. No more work would follow success.
