Investigators from the Sheriff of the County of Los Angeles are looking for clues that supported the relaxation in a car shooting that left a mother and a daughter in Compton on Tuesday evening.
The deputies discovered two women injured by bullet after 7 p.m. at the intersection of Caldwell Street and Central Avenue, said the Sheriff’s Department of County in a press release.
Investigators said the victims were in a car stopped at Caldwell’s signal when a second vehicle stopped next to them and that someone opened fire. The shooter’s car fled to the south on Central Avenue, officials said.
One of the victims was found on the nearby road and the other was inside the vehicle, the authorities said. The victims were a 45 -year -old mother and her 22 -year -old daughter, according to the Sheriff department.
