A fatal accident on the 94 west around 5.45 p.m. ended three lanes on Saturday and was still the subject of an investigation, said California Highway Patrol.
The CHP said that the accident had taken place on route 94 of the state near the entry ramp of the Interstate 15. An overturned red sedan could still be seen on the highway around 7 p.m.
The CHP did not say if the death was the driver or if other vehicles were involved.
