Wenatchee, Washington – The search for Travis Decker has intensified while more than 100 officers, agents and deputies continue to chase the former army man accused of having killed his three young girls last week.
The Chelan County Sheriff’s Bureau reported that more than 500 public tips have helped reduce the objective of the joint operation.

The laws of the application of laws, both tactical and administrative, converged in the county of Chelan to help the complex investigation into the murder.
Despite the challenges, morale remains high at the command post, officials said.
The new surveillance video, photos and public councils help decision -making in current research, and the authorities work with the surrounding counties in case Decker passes through the forest in their jurisdiction.
The involvement of more agencies and public vigilance is considered to be crucial for the success of Decker’s capture.
Washington Governor Bob Ferguson also activated the Washington National Guard on Friday evening to help the police.
The local and federal police forces have sought the 32 -year -old air and on the ground after the bodies of her daughters, Olivia Decker, 5, Evelyn Decker, 8, and Paityn Decker, 9, were discovered on Monday. The bodies of the three girls were found at around 75 to 100 meters in an embankment, and the investigators noted zipped ties and plastic bags were dispersed throughout the area.
The girls were first missing after Decker did not send them back to their mother as part of their visits plan ordered by the court. After the discovery of their bodies, he was accused of murder and kidnapping.
“As a parent, my heart goes to Paitact, Evelyn and Olivia’s mother, Whitney, and all those who love them,” wrote Ferguson on X. “The brutal murder of these young children shocked our state. I am determined to support the application of the law while they are looking for justice for Pityn, Evelyn and Olivia.”
Federal prosecutors accused illegal flight decker to avoid prosecution on Thursday. The court documents obtained on Friday by Komo News said that Decker Google searched “how a person is moving to Canada”, “how to move to Canada” and “Jobs Canada” in the days that have been kidnapped.
The investigators obtained and served several search mandates for the Google accounts of Decker, which included previous research carried out from the Decker account. At the time of the murders, Decker was homeless and said he had a hard time in the SSPT. The files show that his former wife cited her mental instability in her divorce deposits.
The US Marshals Service wrote in the Federal Court documents that the Decker sisters were found in a campsite at around 11 miles from the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT). The PCT is a well-established path that takes place along the entire west coast of the United States, from Mexico to Canada. The path ends at the northern border.
Although Canada has announced earlier this year that the country would no longer deliver hikers to legally cross the border without visiting an official port of entrance, there is no barrier or fence between the two PCT terminus countries.
The Chelan County Sheriff’s Bureau said on Friday that there were more than 100 officers involved in the search for Decker, who covered damaged land in the Washington Center Cascade mountains, and more than 500 advice had flocked to the public.
Decker was previously in the army and had in -depth training in “navigation, wooded / mountainous terrains, long -distance movements, survival and many other disciplines necessary to be able to flee”, according to court documents.

Earlier this week, the police urged citizens who have cabins or live in remote areas of the counties of Chelan, Kittitas, King, Snohomish and Okanogan to lock their doors, including all hangars and outbuildings, and leave the window blinds open. Residents are also invited to leave the outer lights on.
The authorities have closed several hiking and leisure areas in Washington, including parts of the PCT, while human hunting for continuous decker.
It is not currently known if Decker is armed, but the authorities have said that he should be considered armed and dangerous. The authorities described Decker as white, about 5 feet, 8 inches high, 190 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. It was seen for the last time bearing a light color shirt and dark shorts.
