Monica Lewinsky’s ruffle dress served a sophisticated glamor

Monica Lewinsky honored the red carpet a little more recently. After having made a rare appearance to the Oscars and the Vanity Fair After Party last month, the writer and activist made another unexpected appearance during the first of Broadway Good night and good luck At Winter Garden Theater on April 3.

Lewinsky’s look included a strapless black dress with an enveloping shoulder detail that was sitting just above the bust. Below the adjusted bodice, the lower half of the skirt included flyers on several levels which fell into an asymmetrical swimming pool around its feet. She completed the look with a pair of pointed black pumps. As for her hair, she opted for a soft, vaporous and halfway look.

Jennifer Lopez was also present with her teenager, Emme, and her sister, Lynda, while Cindy Crawford brought her husband, Randy Gerber, and her daughter, Kaia Gerber. Everyone, including Lewinsky, seemed to agree: the unofficial evening dress of the evening was chic black.

Lewinsky entered the audience in 1998. Then a White House intern, Lewinsky found himself at the center of a national scandal after his affair with President Bill Clinton was exhibited. The next day, Lewinsky later said that she struck “Rock Bottom”. After having removed public eyes for about a decade, Lewinsky has been telling his side of history since the early 2000s, starting with a Vanity Essay entitled “Shame and survival”. In recent years, she has also worked as a cyberbullyting activist and her own podcast called Recovery.

As Lewinsky said Variety At the time, she wanted to produce more films and television – and she could even dive her toes in the theater. “I am so excited by the reopening of Broadway to be able to go back and have the experience of what it looks like this energy gift from actors and words on the page,” she said. “Having this collective experience is magical. I’m really looking forward to feeling it again.”

Lewinsky also started to attend some red carpet events. During the Oscars of last month, she wore a simple strap -free LBD, which she exchanged for another simple black dress, this time with a plunging necklace and a transparent panel, for the party after.
