A baby colobus made its debut at a zoo in South Bend, Indiana, held in its mother’s arms, seen giving her a kiss in footage released on Sunday, April 7.
Images posted to X by the Potawatomi Zoo show the baby colobus holding its mother. The zoo said the baby was born March 23 and “mom Moja appears to be doing a great job.”
According to the Potawatomi Zoo, baby black and white colobus are born with pink skin and white hair that changes color during the first three to four months of life.
