Modi wins, Smriti loses… the big winners and losers – Firstpost

We are hours that count and it seems that we are all ready for a third term of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. However, the dream of crossing the brand 400 was destroyed due to an animated performance implemented by India Alliance.

While the votes continue to be counted, here is how heavy goods vehicles such as Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Rahul Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav and many others get out of it. So who wins and who loses?

PM Narendra Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi won Varanasi a third time, beating Ajay Rai from Congress. The Prime Minister won the seat with 6.12,970 votes while Rai obtained 4.60,457 votes.

While the Prime Minister managed to secure a third term in the temple city, the victory is a bit bitter because his share of voting fell by around 9 percentage points.

In 2019, Prime Minister Modi won the headquarters with 6,74,664 votes and in 2014, he obtained the seat with 5,81,022 votes.

Amit Shah

The Minister of the Interior, Amit Shah, won Gandhinagar’s headquarters in Gujarat after facing the head of the Sonal Patel congress. Shah won a victory with a margin of seven Lakh votes. The data of this show that it set up 10.10,972 while Patel won only 2.66,256 votes.

Gandhinagar went to the polls on May 7, during the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections in 2024. The BJP experienced a bastion of more than a decade in the headquarters of Gandhinagar.

Rahul Gandhi

Congress chief Rahul Gandhi won the Rae Bareli seat, beating the BJP Dinesh Pratap Singh. In an article on social networks, the BJP candidate asked for the “forgiveness of the people” of Rae Bareli and said that “the decision was not in our hands” despite the members of the party working tirelessly to ensure a victory in the bastion of the congress.

The CE website has shown the last time that Gandhi won 6.87,649 votes while Singh obtained 2,97,619 votes.

Raebareli is the second seat of Gandhi, with Wayanad in Kerala being the other.

In Wayanad too, the head of the congress won Annie Raja de CPI. In 2019, Rahul Gandhi obtained 65% of the vote, winning more than seven Lakh votes. Gandhi won an impressive victory, triumphant over PP Suneer from the ICC by an impressive margin of 4.31 Lakh votes.

Smriti Irani

It may be the greatest loss of this election. After defeating Rahul Gandhi in 2019, this time, Smriti Iran had to concede the defeat in the constituency against Kishori Lal Sharma of Congress. Sharma, a loyalist of Gandhi, won 5.39,228 votes while Irani received only 3,72,032 votes.

After her loss, she said: “I express my gratitude to all the workers and supporters of the BJP, those who worked at the service of the constituency and the party with the greatest dedication and loyalty. Today, I am grateful to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and CM Yogi Adityanath that their governments have completed the work awaiting 30 years in just five years. I congratulate those who win. Akhilesh Yadav

The leader of the Samajwadi party, Akhilesh Yadav, won the headquarters of Kannauj in the Uttar Pradesh. Akhilesh Yadav, who represented Kannauj from 2000 to 2012 before resigning to become chief minister, will recover the seat which has an important family history. His father, Mulayam Singh Yadav, held the constituency three times.

During the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Kannauj experienced a notable change when the BJP subrat won by a narrow margin of 12,000 votes, beating Dimle Yadav, the wife of Akhilesh Yadav. Dimle Yadav had won the seat without opposition in a tour and obtained a re -election in 2014.

Supriya Sule

In the baramati of Maharashtra, it is a Pawar battle against Pawar. However, the veteran, Supriya Sule, emerged victorious in the race with his sister-in-law Suntra Pawar. Supriya won, according to the CE, 2.60,063 votes while Pawar acquired 23,2553 votes.

Kanimozhi

In the Tamil Nadu Thotukkudi district, the candidate for the DMK Kanimozhi won against her closest rival – Sivasamy Velumani R of Aiadmk, after having obtained 5.40,729 votes.

In the 2019 elections, Kanimozhi won the seat with 5.63,143 votes.

Thotukkudi’s district voted in phase 1 of the election of Lok Sabha in 2024.

Rajnath Singh

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh smiles because he won in the constituency of Lucknow. This marks his third consecutive victory for the siege. In 2019, Singh had obtained a huge 6.27,881 votes, representing 57.09% of the total votes expressed.

In 2014, the BJP veteran had obtained an impressive 5,59,033 votes, representing a total of 54.49% of the total votes expressed.

Kangana Ranaut

The polls of the polls smile on Kangana Ranaut. The actor who has become a politician, who participates in a BJP de Mandi ticket in Himachal Pradesh won.

Omar Abdullah

HD Kumaraswamy

Former chief minister and chief of Janata Dal (Laïque), HD Kumaraswamy, won the battle of the high issues in Mandya of Karnataka against Venkataramane Gowda (also known as Star Chandru) of Congress.

According to CE data, Kumaraswamy obtained 8.51,881 votes while Gowda won 5,67,261 votes.

The congress won the siege of Mandya Lok Sabha 13 times since the first parliamentary elections.

Shashi Tharoor

Shashi Tharoor, of the Congress, who plans a fourth consecutive term in Thiruvananthapuram of Kerala, won the elections. In the competition, the rival closest to the leader of the congress is Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Minister of State of the Union for the development of skills and triple deputy of Rajya Sabha. Currently, Tharoor has 35,3679 votes while the BJP candidate won 33,7920 votes.

Until 2009, the Thiruvanthapuram seat changed between the Communist Party of India (ICC) and the Congress Party.

Shivraj Singh Chouhan

In the Vidisha of Madhya Pradesh, former chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, popularly known as “Mamaji”, won Pratap Bhanu Sharma of Congress.

Charanjit Singh Channi

Former Punjab chief minister, Charanjit Singh Channi, won the district of Jalandhar in Punjab. While Channi won 3,900,53 votes, his closest rival, the BJP Sushil Kumar Rinku obtained 21,4060 votes.

Ditch

The Yadav Bahu, Dimple, won hand -on -headed headquarters in Up. She obtained 5,98,526 votes while her closest rival, Jayveer Singh of the BJP, obtained 3,76,887 votes.

MainPuri is a politically significant seat, represented by eminent leaders such as Mulayam Singh Yadav from the Samajwadi Party (SP). During the previous elections of Lok Sabha in 2019, Mulayam Singh Yadav of the SP won the headquarters of MainPuri by more than 94,000 votes, obtaining 5,92,306 votes. His closest rival was Prem Singh Shakya from the BJP, who obtained 4,97,589 votes.

Hema Malini

Hema Malini won Mathura with a margin of 16,3452 votes in the electoral results of Lok Sabha 2024. The actor who became a politician said: “It’s a very exciting moment at the moment and I am sure that our party will come and will certainly train the government. Abhishek Banerjee

Abhishek Banerjee of the TMC won the elections of the Diamond Harbor district of Western Bengal. The data shows that he obtained 10,42,793 votes while his closest rival, Abhijit Das du BJP, only succeeded 3,5 433 votes.
