‘Moana 2’ Sets Sail With First Trailer: Watch Now

Get ready to set sail, because the first trailer for “Moana 2” is here.

The clip, which shows Moana (Auli’i Cravalho) and Maui (Dwayne Johnson) heading back to sea, debuted online on Wednesday.

At one point, Moana further explains the purpose of the new adventure, saying, “It is a call from the ancestors to sail to new skies and reconnect our people across the entire ocean.”

Maui makes a grand entrance at the end, picking up the accident-prone rooster Heihei and proclaiming “boat snack”, before grabbing the adorable pot-bellied pig Pua and exclaiming “boat snack improvement”.

“Bacon and eggs?!” he screams. “Why didn’t you bring the pig last time?”

A press release describes the highly anticipated sequel as following Moana “on a vast journey searching for people beyond the shores of Motunui.”

“Joined by Maui and an all-new crew of unlikely sailors, Moana must journey to the distant seas of Oceania and into dangerous, enduring waters for an adventure like no other,” the tease continues.

“Moana 2” hits theaters on November 27.
