Chisholm was expelled in the seventh round by the plaque referee John Bacon for having discussed after a third strike called a land at a very number of Mason Montgomery which seemed weak.
A few minutes later, he posted on his X account, “not even F — ING near !!!!!” then removed the post.
“I did not think before I had something I said was ejectable but after probably,” said Chisholm after the match. “I am a competitor, so when I go and I have the impression of being right and you tell me something that, I think, does not make sense, I will get started and be upset.
“I lost my emotions. I lost my composure. I have to be better than that. … I am really angry with myself to have lost my composure.”
