Miramar shooting, Carjacking leaves 2 injured, 1 in detention

Miramar, Florida. – A shooting in a complex of Miramar apartments on Saturday afternoon led to a car car near an Aldi grocery store, sending two people to the hospital and causing a strong police presence in the region, the authorities confirmed.

According to investigators, the incident started with an altercation at the Epic Vibe complex where shots were exchanged – the investigators estimating more than 20 laps were fired around 2 p.m.

Shortly after, at least one of the suspects fled the premises and headed for Aldi Plaza, where the police said that a random person was diverted.

This victim of the diversion was not injured, the authorities confirmed. Miramar police said police arrested a suspect later in the incident. It was not identified by the police.

The authorities confirmed that two people had been killed – one went to the hospital while the other was transported by the first stakeholders. The police said that one of these victims had been shot in the arm, while the state of the second remains unknown.

It is still not known whether the victims were involved in the initial altercation or were passers -by. The authorities believe that the shots continued near the Aldi, but these details remain under investigation.

The authorities declared that a perimeter had been created in the region and that a command post had been set up at 12280 Miramar BLVD.

Investigators said two suspects were involved in the shooting was released.

The shooting has left many people who live in the region concerned.

“I heard a lot of shots – several shots – and it went crazy,” said Jannea Wolf, a Miramar resident.

Miramar police have confirmed that the Broward sheriff’s office had resumed the investigation.
