It’s time, once again, for everyone to get down on their hands and knees, as we head into the final quarter of play in this Wild Card playoff game with the Minnesota Vikings trailing the Los Angeles Rams by a score 27-9.
The Vikings got the ball back to start the half and were able to drive to midfield before knocking the ball away. The Rams then took the ball and put themselves in position for more points, in the form of a 44-yard field goal by Joshua Karty to make the score 27-3 midway through the third quarter.
Then the Vikings got into the end zone for the first time in 21 drives, as Sam Darnold found TJ Hockenson for a 26-yard catch-and-run to eventually get Minnesota a touchdown. It was Hockenson’s first touchdown since returning from injury and the first for the Vikings since the Green Bay game in Week 17. The Vikings scored two and failed, leaving the score at 27-9 at five minutes of the end of the third quarter.
The Vikings then forced another punt, but Ethan Evans did an exceptional job with the boot, putting the Vikings on their own 4-yard line. As we head into the fourth quarter, the Vikings are looking at a 2nd and 10 from their own 15 yard line.
It looks like there are fifteen minutes left in the 2024 season for the Minnesota Vikings, as they trail the Los Angeles Rams by a score of 27-9 and will need a miracle to move on . Come join us for the rest, won’t you?
