SNL review Readers, Citizens of Conehead Nation – Activated Systems and Surprise! We are back in the charming Studio 8 am for a section of three episodes. Tonight will be organized by Mikey Madison, who recently won an Oscars for his work Anorawhich was crowned the best film. Viewers can also recognize it from the dramatic FX Best thingsone of the last Shout entrances, or his turn like one of Manson’s girls Once upon a time in Hollywood.
This evening’s musical guest is Morgan Wallen – a somewhat controversial choice that appeared for the first time in 2020. SNL50 Shenanigans, the series has experienced a relatively decent creative break with only two regular season episodes since the end of January. Let’s see what our creative masters who, hopefully, have in store; I suspect that the recent Snafu of Trump’s White House, including Signalgate, will inform a good amount of comedy.
Cold open
Mikey Madison joins Ego Nwodim and Sarah Sherman as high school girls who chat in a group group cat. Suddenly, Jennabell and his friends are joined by the defense secretary Pete Hegseth (Andrew Dismukes). He continues their talkative, sharing and speaking in emojis while sharing national secrets. He invites vice-president JD Vance (Bowen Yang), who continues the inappropriate conversation via Greenland. He notes his work there is mysterious but important.
“Rubio in the house!” Hollers Marcello Hernández (to applaud!) A fun to see the host appear in the open cold. And the Dismuks are good in this role.
Monologue
Mikey Madison notes that she has a relaxed atmosphere in real life. However, in the films, she was burned twice and has experienced several violent ends.
She talks about her history as a “horses’ girl”, which is a nerd but with long hair, showing a nice photo of Halloween while growing up. There is also a good time when she asks the public to guess who in a program is her twin brother: “If you have guessed the one who looks like Ron Weasley on testosterone, you win.” There is a clumsy cut to find out if it is really the person Anora Do your post stunts and … that’s it. Fairly low concept.
“Actor teacher 2”
A professor of commercial actor (Hernández) gives unconventional actor advice to students in his class. This is a series of a sketch in November. The show continues to try to make Hernández occur. He is strong. “It’s a shoe announcement, not a you announce! “He shouts to two students practicing their Nike script lines.
“Big Dumb Line Ft. Joe Jonas”
Viral Greek yogurt! Pizza! Armed with accents in euros and a funky rhythm, people go through the realities of queuing for popular food. Is it up to the media threshing? Joe Jonas Cameos.
“Duty of the jury”
A judge without frills (ego nwodim) warns the potential jurors who work will not be an excuse to withdraw from the service. She meets a certain number of collaborators! The casting can play crazy – Emil Wakim returns as Luigi Mangione. Hernández shouts again by wearing a shiny blue combination similar to a Benson Boone put on for grammys. SnlChloe Fineman demonstrates her pedestrian parker Posey White lotus impression. Is it really the best way to approach the maximum popular series? Lame.
“Spring Break”
It is the Spring Break and a couple (Chloé Fineman and Marcello Hernández) has a significant heart to heart on marriage and growing up – it’s in the foreground. In the background? Oh my boy, wacky buffoonery, including vomiting and other clumsy altercations!
Two years ago, Jenna Ortega tried to have a serious conversation outside a chaotic waffle house – it’s the same premise. Meh.

Morgan Wallen plays “I’m the problem”
In January, this was released under the fourth single of the fourth Wallen studio album in the same title. It is dark, catchy.
Weekend update
Colin Jost goes to Full Signalgate, while Michael Che makes a brutal joke of fans! Dystopia continues – with Diddy and Veep References.
Go up and grind! Speaking of dystopia, Devon Walker comes out to describe his intense awakening diet influenced by Tiktok. There is a nice reminder to Jay Pharoah here, and a cameo Jost! (Lateral note: Lorne Michaels no longer stops on the screen?) The Tiktok usurpers here are on site, quite funny.
A brief “Hear Me Out” segment is as follows, where Jost attacks Paddington: “Listen to me, Paddington is a toxic dog. It is an illegal immigrant independent of a beautiful gullible white family.”
Joann Fabrics had the bankruptcy. Joann (Ashley Padilla) is there to comment on the various good faiths of the chain. It is a sanctuary for women who wear pants at the beach! Jost mentions Michael’s, who triggers Joann. “Know what has ruined us? Feminism,” she said, sniffing glue. Meh.
I recently spoke with Rich Hall before a show at The Barns at Wolf Trap in Vienna, Virginia, he was on Snl When the update was actually known as “Saturday Night News” and was anchored by Christopher Guest. Hall specializes in the characters of offbeat commentators during his time – original things like Robert Latta. “It seemed to me that the update of the secret of the weekend was that you had the most room so that you fascinate and cute Chris Guest,” he said. In other words, you have had the least chance of cutting your equipment, as opposed to the writing of sketches. (Hall attributes to Dennis Miller for revolutionizing the update segment.)
“The great regret”
Andrew Dismukes is a Godfather-Type gangster, full of regrets. He came out with his two sons Goon (James Austin Johnson and Marcello Hernández), when he is lit in a sea of bullets. By dying, he deplores that he will not see his grandchildren growing up. Another regret? He could never try the comedy standing. Classic Dismukes, he starts trying hackney equipment on bus panels and birds. He has a slogan: “Go to this sense!” Meh, another failure.
Too too hernández tonight.
Morgan Wallen occurs “just in case”
The single recently released “just in Case” is a sincere song to hang on to the hope of rekindling a past relationship that did not work. Refictor to pass with someone again, Wallen has no interest in getting things to get into the next level with someone else, aspiring to return to an old flame.
“Barry the midwife”
Midwife Barry (Bowen Yang) is back – with a new haircut. Barry is Bitter Mikey Madison’s ob-gyn does not remember her; They met during a concert by Hilary Duff at Today Show in 2007. (I love the mention “so yesterday”!) It’s beyond stupidity. But in Choreo.
“Please don’t destroy – Mikey Madison is Squidward”
Our heroes are delighted to meet Mikey, whom they hear are very earth-to-earth and open to brainstorming ideas. Well, she walks dressed in squidwards SpongeBob Squarepants. After a few products, she admits that she wants a serious live action, a serious interpretation of Bob Top. They are reluctant but flash in front three years, and she gets her wish.
A little funny to see Bad Bunny briefly like Shrek here.
“So like … what are we?”
As a host in this television game, Mikey Madison brings out the people with whom she is currently going out. Jeremy Hinge (Michael Longfellow) comes out to discover that he is the only competitor. Under lively lights, Jeremy does not want to define their relationship. It’s pretty funny, although the socio -poopathic host gadget is familiar now.
“Plan New York”
A short lively video! We are 1620 and two explorers (Bowen Yang and Michael Longfellow) provide for the development of Manhattan. Quite fun – Look at that! It was written by Mikey Day and Streeter Seidell. Delighted to see them finally release this one.
Final reflections
– What did you think? Return a little sieved / lame, right? Lots of repeated things, but none of this necessary.
