Mike Tyson has spoken out for the first time since suffering a health scare over the weekend.

“Iron Mike” required medical treatment aboard a flight from Miami to Los Angeles on Sunday.

His representatives revealed that an ulcer flare-up caused Tyson to feel dizzy and nauseous mid-flight.

They have since insisted he has made a full recovery and is “now doing great” – a message Tyson agreed with when he broke his silence on Tuesday.

Speaking to X, formerly Twitter, he wrote: “Now I feel 100% even though I don’t need to be to beat Jake Paul.”

It was thought that the Paul vs. Tyson fight could be delayed after news broke that Tyson had suffered a health issue.

However, judging by Tyson’s statement, everything should go according to plan.

Paul confirmed this earlier this week.

“You like to make up shit before you know the facts about clicks/likes. Nothing has changed,” Paul tweeted Monday.

The two are scheduled to face off on July 20 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, home of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys.

If for some reason Tyson is unable to fight, super lightweight contender Ryan Garcia has offered to replace the boxing legend.

He also sent Paul a message saying, “If you’re ready to fight. If Mike can’t do it. Let me know, I’ll replace him.”

Paul quickly responded to the offer and downplayed a potential fight: “Everyone is trying to do everything they can to damage this fight and attack me. You should know that.”

By the time Tyson climbs between the ropes on fight night, he will have just celebrated his 58th birthday while Paul is in his prime at 27 years old.

The last time Tyson boxed in a professional contest was June 2005, when he retired to his stool late in the sixth round against regional pro Kevin McBride.

Meanwhile, Paul actively competes as a professional boxer and has fought ten times (9-1) in the paid ranks over the past four years.
