Highlights of the Rangers’ Game 4 win over the Capitals, which secured a series sweep:
3 stars
1. Artémi Panarin
Scoring the game-winning goal, assisting on an earlier go-ahead score and leading the Rangers with four shots on goal in the series-clinching victory, Panarin made an impact in this series after having none in the exit from last year’s first round.
2. Mika Zibanejad
Scoring two crucial goals on Sunday night, Zibanejad ultimately finished with a team-leading seven points in the first-round series.
3. Kaapo Kakko
The Finnish winger buried the Rangers’ first goal when he took advantage of a gift from Capitals defenseman Nick Jensen 57 seconds after the faceoff.

Key moment :
The penalty had set the Rangers apart throughout the series and when that unit was called upon shortly after Panarin scored a go-ahead goal, they once again managed to score the goal into an empty net from Jack Roslovic which sealed the series.
Quote of the day
“I just think it shows we’re a good hockey team. We showed it in every game. I think even tonight when we weren’t at our best, we were still able to do the little things well whenever we had a lead.
