Michelle Obama and George W. Bush have the same love language

  • Michelle Obama and George W. Bush share a sense of humor, according to Jenna Bush Hager.
  • The Talk-show host spoke of the friendship of the duo in a recent episode of Today with Jenna & Friends.
  • The former first lady and former president made the headlines in the past for her embraces and her seeds.

In addition to their former shared residence of the White House, Michelle Obama and George W. Bush apparently have at least another thing in common: their language of love. The daughter of the former president, Jenna Bush Hager, thought about the improbable friendship of the duo in a recent episode of her talk show, Today with Jenna & Friends. To be short? Everything comes down to a key element: humor.

“We like to tease my father. And he likes it, generally, if he is in a good mood,” said Bush Hager. “But also, I just realized why my father and Mrs. Obama are friends! They have the same love language.”

Bush Hager continued, adding that humor is a shared value between all family members.

“My mother laughs hysterically to my father,” she said about the former First Lady Laura Bush. “My father mainly laughs at him.

The former president and the friendship of the former first lady have been the subject of curiosity in the past. Bush recognized their viral moment after a joint appearance at the opening of the National Museum of African-American History and Culture in 2016.

“The Big Hug, Yeah. But i think the one that became More Famous is when i Gave Her the Altoid During McCain’s Funeral. And it Shocked Me. We Got in the Car and I Think Barbara or Jenna Said, ‘Hey, You’re Trending!'” Bush Said During an Interview CBS Sunday morning In 2021. “The American people were so surprised that Michelle Obama and I could be friends. I think it is a problem that Americans are so polarized in their thoughts that they cannot imagine a George W. Bush and a Michelle Obama being friends.”
