The offensive tackle of Miami Dolphins Terron Armstead decided to withdraw from football at the age of 33.
Armstead calls him a day after 12 seasons in the NFL in Miami and Louisiana with the New Orleans.
Speaking earlier in the week, the Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel hinted that Armstead could retire, but insisted that he had the skills necessary to continue.
“We had an incredible amount of conversations on his body and what he feels,” said McDaniel.
“I think, linked to this, where it is in relation to other years and how we can predict in a realistic way, I think it will really shape the answer to this question (retirement).
“He was never on Terron’s game, right?” This is the way it was available, and he tried to be more available to us than a counterpart. He played a lot.

The dolphins endured a difficult campaign in 2024 with the quarter-Arrière Tua Tagovailoa missing for several weeks with a concussion sustained during week 2.
The campaign finished the second campaign in AFC East at the Buffalo Bills, ending with a file of 8-9.
