Mia Goth goes to a galaxy far, far. The actor “Pearl” joined the cast of Shawn Levy “Star Wars: Starfighter“, Which also features Ryan Gosling. The details of its role are currently kept under the Wraps.
The film is considering a beginning of fall and Disney production set a theatrical release date on May 28, 2027. Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy, and creation director Dave Filoni officially unveiled plans for “Starfighter” during the annual Star Wars celebration event in Tokyo in April.
The Standalone, which focuses on the new characters in the “Star Wars” universe, is set at around five years after the events of “Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker”, which concluded the Skywalker saga and is currently present as the last chronologically characteristic on the “Star Wars” calendar.
Goth will then appear in “Frankenstein” by Guillermo Del Toro alongside Jacob Elordi and Oscar Isaac, as well as “The Oddysey” by Christopher Nolan with Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Anne Hathaway and Robert Pattinson. The previous credits include “Emma”, “Infinity Pool” and the Ti West film series of “X”, “Pearl” and “Maxxxine”.
“Star Wars: Starfighter” marks the follow-up of Levy’s director at the successful comedy of Marvel Studios “Deadpool & Wolverine”, which raised $ 1.3 billion at the world box office after the release in July 2024 and is the Rated Rated Rated function of all the highest time.
Jonathan Tropper wrote the script for the film. Tropper has written previous features for Levy (“The Adam Project”, “that’s where I leave you”) and is the creator of the Apple TV + series “Your friends and neighbors”.
