Mexican presidential candidates pledge to ease security crisis

MEXICO CITY — The two women vying for Mexico’s presidency traded blame for the country’s security crisis Sunday night, each accusing the other’s party of ties to organized crime and vowing to stubbornly reduce homicide rates students.

Candidates for the June 2 election have also insisted they will defend Mexico’s sovereignty, while accusing their opponents of pandering to Donald Trump while he was president.
