A spokesperson for the First Lady postponed the comment to the White House Historical Association. CNN reported in March that all the funds collected by sponsorships would go to the private non -profit organization which helps preserve and educate the public on the history of the White House.
The White House had previously expressed its interest in having more explicit business sponsorships, leading to the conflicts of possible interests that Meta’s presence will be underlined.
